Mercury and Venus Get Busy in Their New Signs While Chiron Slips Back into Aries to Heal Some Unfinished Business

We are on the heels of an action-packed New Moon in Virgo that occurred on September 10 and dealing with all of the changes that brought.  And today is the 25th anniversary of 9/11, which is bound to trigger some profound memories and emotions.

Mercury entered Libra on the New Moon and it wastes no time in making its presence known.  On September 12 it will be trining Pluto in 3 degrees of Aquarius.  This will sharpen our mental focus as we seek to uncover hidden truths.  It confers deep psychological insight.  Communication will be honest and profound.  It's easier to discuss difficult subjects without getting defensive.  It also represents an opportunity to purge outworn mental patterns.  Pluto is  after all the cosmic roto-rooter.

Mercury in Libra is also opposing Neptune in 3 degrees of Aries on September 12. This can create a bit of a mental fog or some confusion but it can also enhance creative endeavors as our imagination is running on overtime.

On the following day, September 13, Mercury in Libra is trining Uranus in 5 degrees of Gemini.  Our mental clarity is at full capacity now and we could experience some real breakthroughs.  We are open to new possibilities and exciting news might be delivered.  Intuition is strong and insights could be come through dreams.

Venus entered Scorpio on the New Moon and will be spending quite a bit of time in the fixed water sign due to its upcoming retrograde that starts on October 3.  On September 15, Venus in Scorpio will be squaring Pluto in 3 degrees of Aquarius. This is a challenging aspect that can bring clashes involving love, money and power.  Relationships can be in overdrive with the potential for jealousy, possessiveness and obsessive behavior.  The key to surviving it is to realize that the discomfort it creates can help us to purge toxic habits and reclaim our personal power.  Be prepared for control issues to emerge.  I am all too familiar with this aspect as I have it natally with my retrograde Venus in Scorpio squaring my Pluto in Leo.

On September 15, Venus in Scorpio is also inconjunct Neptune in 3 degrees of Aries.  This can manifest as disillusionment between what we want in a relationship and the reality.  Our expectations need some adjustments.  Try not to jump into new relationships now or make any major financial decisions because Venus is also associated with money.

Chiron is moving back into Aries on September 17 until April 14, 2027.  Chiron has been in Taurus since June 19 and when it returns to Taurus in April 2027 it will remain in Taurus until 2033.  Chiron will station direct in 26 degrees of Aries on January 6, 2027, so anyone with planets in 26-29 degrees of the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn will feel the brunt of this transit.  My cardinal T-square is right in the line of fire as my Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Cancer and Neptune in Libra get hit.  My Chiron in 24 degrees of Capricorn will probably feel it too.

What will Chiron's last stand in Aries bring?  We have unfinished business pertaining to our personal identity wounds.  We can learn to assert our desires in a healthy way so that we feel seen and heard.  We are in the final stages of tying up the loose ends that began in 2018 when Chiron entered Aries.  This is intensely personal for me because my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2018 and died in August 2026 as a result of a stroke that occurred two days after the Solar Eclipse in Leo.  Who says astrology doesn't have real life implications!  As they say, you can't make this stuff up.

I am no longer posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), but I am posting daily on Blue Sky Social as danceofphoenix@danceofphoenix.bsky.social. There is an astrological community on there called AstroSphere. The link is:

If you are curious as to how all of this planetary action is affecting you, please consider getting an astrological consultation with me. I offer consultations on Zoom too. Check out my menu of services at:

https://phoenixscorpio.blogspot.com/p/services-offered.html

I am also offering private astrology lessons by telephone or video, such as FaceTime or Zoom.  Please feel free to contact me at lindasim54@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more about astrology.

I have been doing more work with tarot readings, which I love, so I decided to create a combination reading which offers the option of a 30-minute astrology consultation with a one-question tarot reading for only $50. There is something for everyone and my menu of services can accommodate any budget. I also have a one-question tarot reading for only $15.

My site also offers the opportunity to provide a donation in the amount of your choice to demonstrate your support for my blog and daily astrological insights on Blue Sky Social at:

https://phoenixscorpio.blogspot.com/p/services-offered.html

A contribution in any amount is deeply appreciated as gratitude is a daily part of my spiritual practice. If you prefer to send a donation through Venmo or pay for a reading through Venmo, my handle is Linda Simons @Linda-Simons-7.  Or you can send a contribution using Zelle and my phone number 617-304-2205.

Additionally, I am available for tarot readings by telephone.  I use the Celestial Tarot Deck, which I love because it contains so many astrological symbols.  A tarot reading is another great option for obtaining insight and clarity. I offer a 24-card tarot card reading for $50 which incorporates the twelve houses of the horoscope.

I am still experiencing technical difficulties with the Buy Now buttons on the Services Offered page of my site.  In the meantime, please feel free to send payments through PayPal to my email at lindasim54@gmail.com. Just let me know which type of consultation you want with your birth date info.  Or you can send a payment to my Venmo account at Linda Simons @Linda-Simons-7 or Zelle using my phone number 617-304-2205. In 2020, I added a Monthly Horoscopes section to my website. September horoscopes are up now and I have a link to my monthly forecasts at Horoscope Junkie.  Check it out at:

I have also joined Facebook.  I don’t post as frequently as on Blue Sky Social, but I am on Facebook now at https://www.facebook.com/linda.simons.75098

The coronavirus outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice, so all of my Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client.  I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed. If this appeals to you, please feel free to contact me by email at lindasim54@gmail.com or call me at 617-304-2205. The cost for distance Reiki sessions is based on a sliding scale of $30 -$50. For your convenience, I accept Venmo and Zelle for payment. Zelle payments can be sent using my telephone number 617-304-2205. I have also written an article about distance Reiki, which is available at:

Uranus Goes Direct in Taurus Adding a Green Light to Moving Forward and Change

Save the day of January 27, 2024 because on that day Uranus stations direct in 19 degrees of Taurus after having been retrograde since August 28, 2023.  It stationed retrograde back then in 23 degrees of Taurus, so if you have planets between 19-23 degrees of the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius, you have been feeling the angst big time for the past five months. You have probably been contemplating changes, but felt somewhat stymied in terms of what course of action to take.  Uranus is the planet that symbolizes breakthrough, revolution, innovation and is known as the Great Awakener. When Uranus stationed retrograde in August, it was opposing my Venus in Scorpio in my 2nd house and when it stations direct, it will be directly opposing my Sun in Scorpio in my 2nd house.  It also marks the day that all of the planets are in direct motion until April 1 when we have our first Mercury retrograde of 2024 in Aries.

We have had quite an intense week astrologically.  On January 20, after a final conjunction between the Sun and Pluto in 29 degrees of Capricorn, both the Sun and Pluto entered Aquarius.  The Sun enters Aquarius every year, but Pluto entering Aquarius is a rare occurrence.  Okay, it dipped its toes in briefly last year from March 23 through June 11, but it is really getting its feet wet this time before it has one final quick sweep to clean up in Capricorn from September 1 through November 19.  On January 20, I posted:
We also had the first Full Moon of 2024 on January 25 in 5 degrees of Leo that was pretty potent.  On that day I posted:
But I think we are all familiar with the theory that when a planet is stationing, either retrograde or direct, its power is intensified for about five days before and after the actual date of the station.  The bottom line is that if Uranus has been aspecting any of your planets, you have probably been experiencing some intense emotions and anxiety about whatever radical changes you want to make in your life.  Now that Uranus in Taurus has joined the all-direct party of planets, the sense of urgency to implement change is more palpable.

Mercury and Mars are also conjunct in 17 degrees of Capricorn on January 27, so we are going to feel even more inspired to launch new ideas.  It is a very creative vibe.  On January 28, both Mercury and Mars in 18 degrees of Capricorn will be squaring the North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra.  This only serves to fuel our desire to make choices and take action.  Mercury in Capricorn will also be trining Uranus in 19 degrees of Taurus on January 28, which can bring interesting news and approaches to situations.  Venus in Capricorn is also trining Jupiter in 6 degrees of Taurus on that day, which is a real feel-good aspect that helps us to embrace joy and love.  It also fosters creativity and perhaps a desire to engage in some shopping.

We are really feeling the urge to break free, take risks and start some new projects on January 29 when Mars in Capricorn is trining Uranus in 20 degrees of Taurus.  Don't forget that Mars is a very happy camper in Capricorn, eager to accomplish great feats.  And when these two earth signs of Capricorn and Taurus get together, they want to build something that can last.  The astrological log jam has been broken and we have over two months to plunge ahead to implement the plans we have been contemplating since last summer.  Full speed ahead...

I would also like to announce that I have had a second article published about Lunar Phases on PowerFortunes.com.  I posted about it on January 16:

I also wanted to note that in an ironic twist of fate, one of the latest variants of COVID is EG.5, with a nickname of Eris.  Sound familiar--the Goddess of Discord?  Apparently, COVID cases and hospitalizations are on the rise...

I urge everyone to engage in massive amounts of self-care and follow the protective measures of washing your hands frequently, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, wearing a face mask when necessary and staying home if you are sick. And get a vaccine. The newest vaccine is available and I encourage you to get it to protect yourself. I repeat, you do not want to get this virus! I speak from personal experience and consider myself very fortunate to have survived Coronavirus twice. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!

Reality Bites as the Sun Faces off with Saturn but Empowerment and Enlightenment are Possible with Mercury Trining Pluto and Uranus

The month of August continues at a breakneck pace.  We have already experienced the Mars/Uranus/North Node conjunction on August 1 and on August 11 we had a Super Full Moon in Aquarius that squared Uranus in Taurus.  On that day I tweeted:
The Full Moon in Aquarius also squared Mars in Taurus and conjuncted Saturn in Aquarius, so I am not kidding when I said it was no lightweight.  It exactly squared my Sun in Scorpio, so it was no walk in the park for me.  I am sure that anyone with planets in the fixed signs of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio felt the wallop from this Full Moon.

On August 14, we have two more powerful aspects affecting us.  The Sun in Leo will be opposing Saturn in 21 degrees of Aquarius and Mars in Taurus will be trining Pluto in 26 degrees of Capricorn.  When the Sun opposes Saturn, we will get a major reality check.  Frustrations abound, as do restrictions and hardships.  Our energy levels could be low and feeling depressed is quite common when the Sun and Saturn are in such a hard aspect.  Our self-esteem could be somewhat shaken too.  Saturn in a harsh aspect to the Sun has a way of increasing our insecurities as we face delays in achieving goals.  Just remember that it is normal to feel overwhelmed and pressured with this aspect in play.  Try to be patient with yourself and others.  The most constructive use of this energy is to set some boundaries in our relationships.  Saturn is all about structures and rules, so it loves boundaries.  Just lean into that vibe and we should survive this latest hit.

Mars in Taurus is trining Pluto in 26 degrees of Capricorn on the same day.  This will be a much more pleasant aspect to deal with and hopefully it will mitigate some of the harsher features of the Sun/Saturn opposition occurring on the 14th.  Mars trining Pluto bestows strength, courage and tenacity to help us work toward implementing change.  And we all know that change is the name of the game these days; it is simply unavoidable.  The problem has been that it is not happening on our personal timetable and it's damned uncomfortable while we are in the process.  But Mars trining Pluto has a way of increasing our passion and making us feel empowered to initiate the transformation we are all craving.  So bring it on...

On August 16, we have another treat in store for us.  Mercury in Virgo is trining Uranus in 18 degrees of Taurus.  This one can really deliver on the enlightenment as our minds will be open to new possibilities and exciting news could emerge. It increases the likelihood of positive breaking news, which we all could use more of these days.  Mental breakthroughs are possible and we will probably be feeling more psychic.  This aspect is also favorable for technological advances too.  The Internet should literally be abuzz on this day in a good way. Don't hesitate to venture out of your comfort zone on this day.

If you are curious about how all of these planetary changes will be affecting you personally, please consider getting an astrological reading. These are very challenging and unique times; an astrological reading could provide some much-needed clarity and guidance. As an astrologer and a healer, I am delighted to be able to include a Health and Wellbeing Report that provides a focus on health-related matters in the natal chart and offers nutritional advice and stress management tips.  Who couldn’t use that these days?

These can be done by phone or video.
