Hang on because the month of June is going
to be quite the bumpy ride. It started
off nicely with the Moon in Pisces conjunct Jupiter in Pisces on the 1st
and with Venus entering Cancer on the 2nd, but by June 5, we are in
for tumultuous times. Mars in Cancer
will be exactly opposing Pluto in 26 degrees of Capricorn and this is not going
to be pretty. This is very competive
energy and can play out in extremely ruthless behavior if we aren’t careful. Mars in Cancer is very emotional and it won’t take
much to set it off. It’s all too easy to overreact. The Mars-Pluto opposition
has been building all week and I have heard from several people that they sense
its contentious vibe and the conflict that it generates. It’s having a huge impact on the cardinal
signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
And if you have any planets between 20-26 degrees of Libra, they will be
set off by this aspect. Mea culpa, I
have my Juno 23 degrees of Libra and my Neptune in 26 degrees of Libra. Think back to what was going on for you from
August through October 2020 when Mars was in Aries opposing those Libra
planets. You will undoubtedly be
revisiting those themes.
On June 5 we also have the Moon in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn and squaring Mars in Cancer. This adds more fuel to the fire. On top of that, we have Mercury in Gemini exactly squaring Neptune in 23 degrees of Pisces. Mercury squaring Neptune can increase our psychic sensitivity and intuitive feelings and circulate a great deal of information, but the reality is that whatever information we hear will be conflicting and unclear. Mercury stationed retrograde on May 29, when I tweeted:

As I have previously stated, this will be
a tough Mercury retrograde because Mercury is in its favorite sign and it
occurs during Eclipse Season. We had a
Lunar Eclipse on May 26 in 5 degrees of Sagittarius and on June 10 we have a
Solar Eclipse in 19 degrees of Gemini.
Generally we think of New Moons (which a Solar Eclipse is but on
steroids) as a time to plant seeds and set new intentions. This eclipse/New
Moon has a strong theme pertaining to communication and fresh starts. I would wager that social media will be very
active during this eclipse but perhaps the wisest course of action with this
one is to observe because we will probably be faced with choices. Don’t forget that Gemini is a mutable sign
and symbolizes duality, so there could be several options available to us and
we might even need to try twice. And I am giving the mutable signs of Gemini,
Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces that you will be bearing the brunt of this
eclipse. Or if you have any planets around 19 degrees of the mutable
signs. Once again, I am cosmically
blessed with my Moon in 14 degrees of Gemini within striking distance.
Neptune in 23 degrees of Pisces is also heavily involved in this Solar Eclipse. It squares the eclipse, so we might very well hear about some major deception coming to light. Both the Sun and Moon in Gemini are conjunct retrograde Mercury, which adds more energy to the mix. The themes of confusion and a desire to escape will be very strong.
The frenetic pace will continue the following week when we experience the second of three Saturn-Uranus squares in Aquarius and Taurus on June 14. I’ll cover that in next week’s post, but the spoiler alert is for the fixed signs of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio to be on high alert.

The coronavirus outbreak is causing me
to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people are
concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my
in-person Reiki sessions until further notice in order to practice social
distancing. I no longer have my Brookline office, so all of my Reiki sessions
will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. When it becomes
clearer that the virus no longer poses a threat, I will find a new space to
practice. In the meantime, a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity
to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus,
you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have
a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we
set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to
receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss
their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my
clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so
that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my
distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client. I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and

urge everyone to engage in massive amounts of self-care and follow the
