Mars in Capricorn was trining Uranus in Taurus on February 8, inspiring me to tweet:On
February 11, 2022, we have the third and final conjunction of Mercury and Pluto
in 27 degrees of Capricorn. The first
one occurred on December 30, 2021 and the second one happened on January 29,
2022 when Mercury was retrograde. I
encourage you all to think back to what was going on in your lives back
then. Mercury and Pluto hooking up in
Capricorn can bring big reveals about deep-rooted secrets and they have strong
themes of power, control, force and concentrated energy. This could be an important day in the United
States because this aspect touches on the upcoming Pluto Return for America,
which is in 27 degrees of Capricorn. The
first hit of the United States Pluto Return occurs on February 22, 2022 and we
will feel it again in July and December 2022.
So let’s just say that we will be feeling it all year and into next
year. Big changes are afoot…
Mercury
is entering the sign of Aquarius on Valentine’s Day, February 14 and it stays
in Aquarius until March 9. When Mercury
is in Aquarius, our communication becomes more spontaneous, progressive and
objective. We are more inclined to think
outside of the box. It’s a very
future-oriented sign and we could have a tendency to rationalize our emotions.
A
heart-centered Full Moon in 27 degrees of Leo is in store for us on February
16, just two days after Valentine’s Day.
The vibe should hopefully be romantic and hopeful as we seek to find a
balance between the opposing principles of balancing our individual needs vs.
the community. Since this Full Moon occurs
just two days after Valentine’s Day, when the Moon was in its home sign of
Cancer for the early part of the day when it opposes Venus, Mars and Pluto in
Capricorn, we are bound to still be feeling some of its intensity and
drama. Venus and Mars are conjunct in 16
degrees of Capricorn on the Full Moon, which can bring sudden new relationships
or social connections. But Mars and Venus are traveling quite closely together
until early April, so if you are unattached, you will have plenty of chances
for love. The Full Moon in Leo is also
forming an irritating inconjunct or quincunx (150 degrees apart) with Pluto in
27 degrees of Capricorn which could lead to compulsive or obsessive behavior,
lots of intensity and a tendency for the ego to be overpowered by karmic
habits.
This
Full Moon in Leo might also cause you to reassess whatever projects you
initiated on the New Moon in Leo back on August 8, 2021. If you began a relationship back then either
you are taking it to the next level or calling it quits if it is no longer
viable. Just remember that there are
strong themes of courage, passion, creativity and love involved with a Full
Moon in Leo. The Full Moon is also
forming a Grand Cross with the Nodes of the Moon, which changed signs in
January. The Full Moon is squaring the
North Node in 27 degrees of Taurus and the South Node in 27 degrees of
Scorpio. Add in the Sun in 27 degrees of
Aquarius to the mix and we have a tremendous amount of fixed energy. All of this fixed energy entails
determination, tenacity and the ability to stick to our truth as we pursue our
soul path.
But
the best day so far, probably one of the luckiest days of the year, falls on
February 17 when Jupiter in 11 degrees of Pisces forms an exact and supportive sextile to Uranus in 11 degrees of
Taurus. This is an aspect that creates opportunities for expansion, growth,
creativity and freedom. Good luck could
crop up in our lives seemingly out of the blue and our finances might change
for the better in the form of sudden windfalls. We are being pushed out of our comfort zone
but it won’t be that difficult to experiment with something new because Jupiter
in Pisces is protecting us. Make a
little effort and you should see rewarding results. If you gamble, this is the day to buy a lottery
ticket.
I
have a natal Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Cancer in my 10th house, so I am very familiar with the energy of these
two planets when they meet up. I am
excited about this aspect because Jupiter is transiting my 5th house
and Uranus is in my 7th house.

The coronavirus
outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do
because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided
to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice in order to
practice social distancing. I no longer have my Brookline office, so all of my
Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a
distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune
system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the
comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client
about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the
session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy
and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and
my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now
offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each
other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki
treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client. I use a teddy
bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed. If

I urge everyone to
engage in massive amounts of self-care and follow the protective measures of
