Hang on everyone, because we are now experiencing the
closest super new moon of the year. The
moon is closer to the earth than it will be all year and it increases its
potency and power for new beginnings. It
happens on August 23, 2019 at 6: 37 a.m. on the east coast of the United States
in 6 degrees of Virgo. Whatever house it falls in your chart is where you
should be setting intentions and planting seeds to reap the manifestations in
about six months. For me personally, it
falls in my 11th house of friendships, group associations and
goals. That is a very fertile sweet spot
in my chart to be focusing my energy.
A new moon in Virgo has strong themes of grounding,
healing, helping and fixing. Virgo is
also inclined to cleaning and sorting out.
It is perfect energy for streamlining our lives, and that includes
exercising, diet and acting with precision.
This new moon in Virgo is also accompanying the Sun, Mars, Venus and
Mercury in Virgo, which further emphasizes the themes of detail planning and
editing. Virgo loves to narrow the mind down to specifics and with Mercury just
entered Virgo on August 29th, our mental powers of clarity are that
much stronger. The shadow side of all
that Virgo energy is a tendency to get caught up in perfectionism and be hyper
critical, so be mindful of that.
There is an incredibly positive Grand Earth Trine in play
on August 30, 2019 that involves the sun and moon in 6 degrees of Virgo trining
retrograde Uranus in 6 degrees of Virgo and widely trining retrograde Saturn in
14 degrees of Capricorn. This is a lot
of practical energy and Saturn’s presence helps us build for the future. For once, we can honestly say that Saturn is
a good guy. And with the sun and moon
trining Uranus in Taurus, we can expect positive change, an abundance of energy
and exciting opportunities to emerge. We
might feel more self-confidence and freedom to express the more eccentric side
of our personality. Uranus in Taurus has
been a key player recently in terms of spurring our desire for change. On August 28, 2019, Mars in Virgo was exactly
trine Uranus in Taurus and I tweeted:

This new moon in Virgo represents a fabulous opportunity to
stretch out of our comfort zone and follow our intuition. We also have the new
moon in 6 degrees of Virgo conjunct Mars in 7 degrees of Virgo which reinforces
the theme of an abundance of energy and initiative. Venus and Mercury in Virgo will bring love,
patience and the ability to think before we act. There is no doubt that Uranus in Taurus is a
key player in this new moon and with all of these Virgo planets trining Uranus,
our creativity is enhanced and information will flow. And with Mercury direct in one of its home
signs, technology should be very helpful to us.
Virgo is a mutable sign that adapts very well to change and
we have two other planets in mutable signs that are contributing to the theme
of change. We are still experiencing the
ongoing Jupiter in Sagittarius square to Neptune in Pisces which will be exact
again on September 21, 2019 in 17 degrees of their respective signs. These two
planets are helping us to have faith that we can implement the changes in our
lives that we desire. So I urge everyone to meditate, get clear on your
intentions and do whatever rituals you feel comfortable with to initiate some
major changes in your lives. Don’t waste
this powerful and positive new moon energy.

for them. I have a conversation with
