Saturn in Capricorn and Mars in Taurus are paving the way
for a powerful Super Full Moon in Libra on March 20, 2019, the same day that
the sun enters Aries. Saturn in
Capricorn trined Mars in Taurus in 18 degrees of their respective signs on
March 14, 2019, inspiring me to tweet:

Saturn trining Mars is providing stable and grounded earth
energy to help us make our dreams a reality if we apply ourselves. Mars in
Taurus is nothing if not persistent and able to go the distance to arrive at
its destination. It doesn’t mind taking
its time, it’s patient, unlike the previous sign of Aries. And Mars in Taurus will be giving us another
boost of energy on March 20, 2019, the day of the full moon in Libra, when it
forms an easy, favorable flowing trine to Pluto in Capricorn in 22 degrees of
their respective signs. It provides the fuel and the power to act on
eliminating obstacles to success without causing conflict and maintaining a sense
of harmony that is in perfect alignment with that full moon in Libra.
On March 20, 2019, the sun enters the sign of Aries at 5:58
p.m. and the astrological New Year literally begins because Aries is the first
sign of the zodiac. It is the Spring Equinox and the first day of spring. We will be feeling the need to let go of the
past and the future so that we can live in the moment. That is sage advice for everyone in these
turbulent times. When the sun is in the
sign of Aries, we are motivated by a desire to conquer, we’re more impulsive
and have a strong urge to initiate. This
is cardinal fire energy and you can’t ignore it. We will have more courage but the potential
downside is that we can be short sighted and unable to plan ahead because we
are unable to see the big picture. But
the energy is strong for new beginnings.
The moon enters the sign of Libra at 9:28 p.m. and the full
moon occurs fifteen minutes later at 9:43 p.m.
This is going to be a very powerful super full moon for several
reasons. For starters, it’s a super full
moon because it is so close to the earth, the third this year—the first
occurred on January 21, 2019 and the second occurred on February 19, 2019. It’s also the fifth full moon in 0 degrees of
a sign, which tends to amplify the theme of endings and new beginnings. We are in the process of transitioning from
the old to new in the power structures of our society. Secrets can come to light during this full
moon. Anyone who has planets in 28-29 of the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo,
Sagittarius and Pisces and in 0-2 of the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra
and Capricorn will feel the effects of this full moon big time.
A full moon in Libra is bound to have serious implications in
relationships, something that Libra is all about. The full moon in 0 degrees of Libra forms an
irritating inconjunct with Uranus in 0 degrees of Taurus. Be mindful of the fact that there will
probably be a buildup of nervous tension that can be accompanied by irritability,
mood swings and emotional outbursts.
Adjustments (the key word and only way of coping with an inconjunct
aspect) may be necessary in relationships with women. The full moon inconjunct Uranus could also
indicate meeting someone new and unusual or eccentric but be aware that this
person might be a very disruptive influence in your life. And don’t act too impulsively.
There are a lot of other aspects in play during this full
moon. The sun in Aries is conjunct
Chiron in Aries, which can have a very healing influence on relationships. Retrograde Mercury in Pisces is forming a
supportive sextile to Saturn in Capricorn which can help mitigate the tension
caused by Uranus by providing clear thinking and good judgement. Venus in 23 degrees of Aquarius is exactly
square Mars in 23 degrees of Taurus on the full moon, and this can manifest in
sexual frustration and competitive tension.
It could also play out as a conflict between having freedom and the
desire to maintain stability in relationships.
But Venus in Aquarius is also forming a supportive sextile to Jupiter in
Sagittarius, which will bring good luck and generosity. Love and affection may prevail and help heal
relationships. All is not lost when
these two benefics are in alignment. And
don’t forget that Mars and Pluto, those two heavyweights, are playing nice in
the astrological sandbox with a flowing trine on the day of the full moon.
