The planets are on the move this week and on top of that, we have the first of two Full Moons in Aquarius on July 23, 2021. The Sun moved into Leo on July 22 and Venus moved into Virgo on July 21, inspiring me to tweet:

This will be a particularly intense Full Moon for several
reasons. For starters, the Moon doesn’t
enter the sign of Aquarius until 8:12 p.m. on the 23rd, so it will
form an out-of-sign conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. When the Moon and Pluto are involved, power
issues are a strong theme. And abuse of power is definitely part of this theme.
Mars in Leo was inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn on July 22, so we are still
dealing with the aftermath of this dynamic vibe that had a theme of might makes
right. An Aquarian Full Moon wants full disclosure and freedom for the people and
is open to using technology to achieve it.
But Mercury in Cancer is opposing Pluto in Capricorn so don’t be
surprised if you hear about more cyberattacks.
The Sun in Leo is also inconjunct Jupiter in Pisces on the Full Moon,
which adds to the tension and requires that adjustments be made pertaining to
excessiveness.
Another theme of this Full Moon pertains to pulling away from the past and towards the future. The Full Moon in Aquarius is also echoing the Jupiter-Saturn in 0 degrees of Aquarius on December 21, 2020. We just might find ourselves revisiting some difficult issues from that period.
The fixed signs of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio will
bear the brunt of this Full Moon. Aquarians and Leos will feel it in
relationships while Taurus could see some endings in the home life and Scorpio
might have some endings in a job. If you
have any planets around 1 degree of the fixed signs, that planet could see some
closure on an important issue. This Full
Moon falls in my 4th house and squares my Mercury in 0 degrees of
Scorpio, so I know that I will be feeling it.
Mercury is very busy these days. Mercury in Cancer is in a flowing trine to Neptune in 22 degrees of Pisces on July 24, which will stimulate our creativity, imagination, sensitivity and spirituality. Don’t be surprised if you feel more psychic on this day. But on July 25 Mercury in Cancer forms an exact opposition with Pluto in 25 degrees of Capricorn, so the theme of contentious communication is still present. Mercury enters Leo on July 27 until August 11. Thinking and communication will be on a grand scale and much more expressive and dramatic. We will be more persuasive and self-confident.
Retrograde Jupiter leaves Pisces on July 28 and moves back into Aquarius until December 28, 2021. This will be a period of cleaning up unfinished business from March and April of this year. Personally, I am a bit apprehensive about having Jupiter in Aquarius amidst the rise in cases of COVID-19, especially the breakthrough cases of people who are fully vaccinated.
Mars moves into Virgo on July 29 and stays there until September 14. Mars in Virgo is a real workhorse and has a passion for details. It’s a lot less showy and dramatic than Mars in Leo. We will be acting in a more precise manner and motivated by performance. The desire to improve things and make them perfect is strong. It’s a great opportunity to embrace a healthier lifestyle but the shadow side of Mars in Virgo is a tendency to overanalyze our actions and the results.

The coronavirus outbreak is causing me
to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people are
concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my
in-person Reiki sessions until further notice in order to practice social
distancing. I no longer have my Brookline office, so all of my Reiki sessions
will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. At some point,
probably in 2022, I will find a new space to practice. In the meantime, a distant
Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system
and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the
comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client
about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the
session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy
and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and
my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now
offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each
other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki
treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client. I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and

urge everyone to engage in massive amounts of self-care and follow the
protective measures of washing your hands frequently, maintaining social
