Jupiter Enters Gemini for the Next Year and Squares off with Saturn in Pisces

 

Hold on because Jupiter is about to move into Gemini on May 25, 2024 until June 9, 2025.  Jupiter is not at its most comfortable in the mutable air sign of Gemini because it rules the opposite sign of Sagittarius, but all in all, it should not be that bad. Think back to the last time that Jupiter was in Gemini: June 11, 2012 through June 25, 2013.  You just might note some similar themes.  Social media became more prominent back then and I have no doubt it will again.  Jupiter loves to expand whatever it touches, and let's face it, Gemini is all about communication and learning.  We are talking serious mental expansion. When Jupiter is in Gemini, we can attract more good fortune if we are open-minded, versatile and curious.  Jupiter in Gemini will be especially fortuitous for writers as communication will flourish. Pursue your dreams in whatever area of life Jupiter in Gemini is touching.  Jupiter in Gemini starts in my 8th house, will conjunct my Moon in early August and then move into my 9th house.

Jupiter in Gemini will also be squaring Saturn in Pisces on August 19 in 17 degrees of their respective signs and again on December 24 in 14 degrees.  We will start off 2025 under the influence of Jupiter square Saturn.  I happen to have my Moon in 14 degrees of Gemini, so I am interested in seeing how this one plays out.  This aspect is bound to create some tension between boundaries and structures. There will be themes of heaviness and responsibility limiting us creatively.  People and circumstances will test our faith and optimism.  We could experience massive frustration because we want to move forward but feel like someone is putting the brakes on.  Further complicating this is the fact that Saturn is retrograde in Pisces from June 29, 2024 through November 15, 2024.  Saturn stations retrograde at 19 degrees of Pisces and goes direct in 12 degrees of Pisces.  We have some major conflict here: Jupiter wants creativity and fun, while Saturn's forte is self-discipline and responsibility. Criticism from others is likely to surface.  Saturn will move into Aries in May 2025 and Jupiter will move into Cancer (where it is exalted and quite comfortable) in June 2025, setting us up for another Jupiter-Saturn square on June 14, 2025 in the cardinal signs of Cancer and Aries. This one should see more action as cardinal signs love to initiate and stir the pot.

We have a couple of other interesting astrological phenomena occurring in the coming week.  On May 27, Mercury in Taurus will be sextiling Saturn in 18 degrees of Pisces.  Sextiles are favorable and supportive aspects that tend to present us with opportunities.  Mercury sextiling Saturn will deliver clear thinking, good judgment, self-discipline and our organizational skills should be at their peak.  So make the most of this day...

On May 29, Mars and Chiron will be conjunct in 22 degrees of Aries.  This will be a very intense aspect because it shows us what we need to do take action on to heal our wounds and acknowledge our vulnerability.  Remember to treat your wounds with compassion on this day. Try to act in a self-caring manner. This can ultimately be a very cathartic time that will reap huge benefits for us emotionally if we act mindfully.

The coronavirus outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice, so all of my Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client.  I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed.
