We are coming off the heels of a powerful new moon in Aries this week that conjuncted retrograde Venus in Aries. On that day I tweeted:

But Venus will not remain in Aries much
longer. It is still retrograde and will
re-enter the sign of Pisces, where it is exalted, on April 2, 2017. But before Venus changes signs, Mercury
enters Taurus on March 31, 2017 and the communication vibe becomes slower,
steadier and more grounded.
Mercury doesn’t’ stay in Taurus very long,
either, because it will be stationing retrograde in 4 degrees of Taurus on April
9, 2017. It will re-enter Aries on April 20, 2017 and station direct in 24 degrees
of Aries on May 3, 2017. Further complicating
this Mercury retrograde is the fact that during the last week of April and the
first two weeks of May, Mercury will be closely aligned by conjunction with
Uranus in Aries. What can we expect from
this aspect? Nervous energy will run amok, rebellious attitudes will prevail
and there will be lots of direct communication and innovative thinking. But
Mercury will return to Taurus on May 17, 2017 and we will probably experience
more solid footing in communication.
The retrograde Venus in Pisces transit should
be very interesting and illuminating. It
will undoubtedly bring up some old wounds for healing. The themes of Venus in Pisces are all about
unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness.
We literally getting one last shot at letting go and making peace before
Venus re-enters Aries on April 28, 2017.
Use this time wisely to make whatever compromises are necessary to bring
that healing into your life.

On April 6. 2017, Saturn will station
retrograde in 27 degrees of Sagittarius until August 25, 2017 when it stations
direct in 21 degrees of Sagittarius. A
Saturn retrograde transit is much longer and more complicated than either Venus
or Mercury retrograde. Saturn retrograde
bears the themes of limitations, restrictions, anxiety and fear. Since Saturn literally screams
responsibility, our past karma will come into play. If we have been responsible and good
citizens, we just might get some rewards during this transit.
Saturn also brings delays and this is a bitter
pill for many of us to swallow.
Frustrations may mount as we feel our progress is being halted to a crashing
stop. The main thing to remember is that
delays are actually for our benefit. I
know, easier said than done. There may
be details that we have overlooked that require our attention during this transit. Saturn retrograde forces us to flex our
muscles with discipline, endurance and patience. Patience does not come naturally to me; I
have Saturn square Mars, so it is definitely not my strong suit.
The Saturn Retrograde transit starts off with a
rather challenging aspect on April 8, 2017 when it squares retrograde Venus in
Pisces. Saturn squaring Venus is
inherently depressing, but when both are retrograde, it can feel really
discouraging. Feelings of love and
self-esteem will probably not be in abundance on this day and finances may be
shaky. Just remember that this is
TEMPORARY!

For my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule
for a treatment or have difficulty traveling, I have also recently begun doing
distance Reiki sessions for them. I have
a conversation with them about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set
up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive
healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their
experience and my perception of their blockages. I have also incorporated a new technique with
my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my
