The Outer Planets of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune Are Calling the Shots as October Winds Down

 

The month of October is coming to a close after a very turbulent month.  Emotions are running high these days because we have the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer in addition to Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. It's an abundance of planets in water signs. If you have been experiencing a big case of the feels and wanting to cry, blame the preponderance of planets in water that are forcing us to get in touch with our feelings.

On October 28, we have two major aspects in involving the outer planets of Neptune and Saturn in Pisces which will affect relationships.  Mars in Cancer will be trining Neptune in 27 degrees of Pisces at 8:31 a.m.  This can be an extremely romantic vibe because Mars will stimulate our sensuality, compassion and creativity.  Mars in Cancer will give us the spiritual courage we need to defend ourselves and our loved ones too.  If nothing else, it is a perfect time to become involved in humanitarian issues and causes.

Venus in Sagittarius is squaring Saturn in 13 degrees of Pisces at 9:35 a.m. on October 28 as well.  This aspect can add some stress to our love life through delays, distance or shyness.  It can also trigger feelings of loneliness or depression in addition to financial restrictions or limitations.  We just might find ourselves saddled with extra responsibilities in relationships that require us to work hard at maintaining them.  

Mercury in Scorpio will be opposing Uranus in 25 degrees of Taurus on October 30 at 6:15 p.m. This will manifest in a very hectic pace and scattered energy.  We will be easily distracted and find it difficult to concentrate or be patient and self-disciplined.  Unexpected occurrences can rock our world but also deliver fresh insights that we didn't see coming.  There is also the potential for electronic breakdowns with this very erratic vibe.  

Mercury in Scorpio is better behaved on October 31 when it trines Neptune in 27 degrees of Pisces at 8:33 p.m.  This is very creative, spiritual and sensitive energy.  Fantasy can rule, which is kind of fitting for Halloween.  Our psychic abilities will be enhanced and our intuition will be stronger than usual.  Pay attention to your instincts on this day because they will be on the mark.  This is a very positive aspect to end the month of October.  

The month of November will start with a New Moon in Scorpio, Mercury entering Sagittarius and Mars in Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn, and Mars entering Leo all during the first three days, but more on that in next week's post.

The coronavirus outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice, so all of my Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client.  I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed.
