Chiron Enters Taurus and the Sun Moves into Cancer for the Summer Solstice

 

Save the day of June 19 for a historic astrological event.  The Sun enters Taurus on that day until September 17 for a preview of the main event of Chiron in Taurus transit that officially kicks off in April 2027 through 2033.  Chiron has been in Aries since 2018 and we have been dealing with healing our wounds pertaining to identity and independence.  Chiron will return to Aries in September 2026 for to resolve unfinished business in that area of our lives.

What is the theme of Chiron in Taurus?  With Chiron in Taurus, we will be working on healing our wounds around self-worth, money and resources.  We will be dealing with the belief that we aren't enough or don't have enough.  That is how the wound manifests when Chiron is in Taurus.  Economic security and agriculture could be dominant themes.  It's time to heal our relationship with self-worth and financial insecurity.

Chiron was last in Taurus from 1976 through 1984.  If you were born during that period you will be experiencing your Chiron Return, which happens to everyone between the ages of 49-51.  If you are old enough to have been alive then, you might want to reflect on what was going on in your life back then.  Similar themes could resurface.

Chiron does not get beyond 0 degrees of Taurus before it stations retrograde on August 3, 2026 and moves back into Aries on September 17, 2026.  Chiron will station direct in 26 degrees of Aries on January 6, 2027.

On June 21, the Sun enters Cancer for the Summer Solstice.  Our focus shifts towards deep emotional introspection, home life and nurturing.  We could also find ourselves engaged in upgrading our living space and doing some inner healing.  We are more emotionally sensitive and sentimental too.  Nostalgia can overtake us.  And we might be hosting parties or barbecues now.  This is also Father's Day, so Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there.

The Sun in Cancer is also forming a supportive sextile to Chiron on Taurus on June 21.  This can be very beneficial in terms of healing deep-seated wounds by integrating them with our identity and ego.  It's easier to be vulnerable now, so let the healing begin!

On June 22-23, the Sun in Cancer will be trining the North Node in 1 degree of Pisces.  This helps us to align our identity with our destiny and soul purpose.  Doors will open more easily and we could meet people who are instrumental in helping us to move forward.  Don't be afraid to launch new endeavors during this time.

We do have a temporary blip on June 25 when the Sun in Cancer is squaring Neptune in 4 degrees of Aries.  Confusion and doubts could surface.  It might  be difficult to get motivated as low energy and insecurity prevail. But just remember that this is temporary so don’t let it get you down.  This too shall pass...

The coronavirus outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice, so all of my Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client.  I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed.
