The month of
March 2018 may be starting out in the sun sign of Pisces, but it certainly has
very fire like vibe with all of the planets in Aries and Mars in
Sagittarius. On March 6th,
both Mercury and Venus entered the sign of Aries, inspiring me to tweet:
Mercury entered Aries first, beating Venus out by about 16 hours. And Mercury is going to spend a long time in Aries, because we have a Mercury retrograde coming on March 22, 2018. It will station retrograde in 16 degrees of Aries on that day, station direct in 4 degrees of Aries on April 15, 2018 and finally leave Aries on May 4, 2018. And don’t forget that Mercury is entering its retrograde shadow on March 9, 2018 and won’t clear it until May 3, 2018. So if you’re feeling those Mercury retrograde vibes, you’re not imagining them.Communications become more direct and forceful today as Mercury enters Aries. Venus enters Aries too which brings a more impulsive, pushy vibe to love, finances and values. But how is
communication going to change with Mercury in Aries? Mercury in Aries is nothing if not direct and
it will definitely be a time of saying what you mean in a totally honest
manner. And that manner could be blunt,
not all vague and sugar-coated like Mercury in Pisces. Our decisions could be made rather
impulsively during this extended transit of Mercury in Pisces. Action is a key word
with Mercury in Aries.
Venus will be
in Aries from March 6 through March 30, 2018.
Venus has departed its sign of exaltation in Pisces for one of its signs
of detriment. Venus is considered to be
in detriment in Aries and Scorpio and in fall in Virgo. When Venus is transiting
the sign of Aries, relationships can happen fast because instant gratification
is a strong theme. Aries is a cardinal
fire sign and is all about initiating what I want and I want it now! Aries is not known for its patience either. Venus
also rules money, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself tempted to indulge
in some impulse purchases during its transit.
Venus in Aries will form a challenging square to Saturn in Capricorn on
March 13, 2018, so don’t be surprised if relationships or finances face some
bumps on that day.
But on March
11, 2018, when Daylight Savings Time begins, we also have a powerful aspect
with Mars in Sagittarius trining Uranus in Aries. They are exact in 26 degrees
of their respective signs. Mars in
Sagittarius loves action while Uranus in Aries loves change. This is a powerhouse combo of action and
desire supporting change. I am sure that
we will all have a strong desire for independence on that day and an
inclination to fight for what we believe in.
We won’t be afraid to take risks that day either. It will be a perfect day to be open to new
and unusual opportunities and break out of your comfort zone. Just be mindful that Mercury in Aries will be
squaring Saturn in Capricorn that day, so there could be a real sense of being
tested in terms of getting new ventures launched.
As for me
personally, this has been an incredibly testing time because I have lost power
twice during the past week due to storms.
I am also experiencing the joys of Pluto transiting my 4th
house. Pluto entered my 4th
house in late January and it is really shaking things up. I’m hoping for calmer weather soon.

For
my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule for a treatment or have
