The first week
of March 2018 features a dreamy Sun/Neptune conjunction in 13 degrees of Pisces
on March 4, 2018 and Jupiter stationing retrograde in 23 degrees of Scorpio on
March 8, 2018. That’s a lot of water
energy floating around, no pun intended.
What can we
expect from the Sun/Neptune conjunction?
The sun conjunct Neptune in its home sign of Pisces increases our sensitivity,
intuition and empathy. It helps us get in touch with our soul’s purpose and
assists us in resetting our priorities.
It can be a positive or negative influence in your life. Just remember that if you are surrounded by
negative people, you may find yourself feeling depressed, drained of energy or
just plain scared. Try to set some boundaries in your relationships at this
time. If nothing else, this is a
marvelous time to go to the movies or indulge in some escapist literature. On a personal level, this conjunction is
squaring my Gemini moon in the 8th house, which is triggering a lot
of issues about death, transformation and joint finances.
Jupiter is
stationing retrograde in 23 degrees of Scorpio on March 8, 2018 and will station
direct in 13 degrees of Scorpio on July 10, 2018. Jupiter retrograde is a time
of spiritual introspection, and this is especially true with Jupiter in Scorpio
because Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so Jupiter in Scorpio has a natural 12th
house feel. Jupiter retrograde is an
optimal time to purify body and soul and a great time to detox. It is also a great time to reassess in love
and finances. Jupiter in Scorpio is all about surrendering and having faith in
the universe. It can be a time of deep healing and facing our deepest fears.
Jupiter
retrograde is also bound to affect our travel plans in terms of cancellations
or delays. It is also not the best time
to take risks or gamble.
When Jupiter
entered Scorpio back on October 10, 2017, I was initially excited and
enthusiastic because I am a Scorpio. But
in the back of my mind, I was also remembering the last time Jupiter was in
Scorpio in 2006 and 2007 and that was not such a good time for me. In February 2006 Jupiter in Scorpio was
conjunct my sun in my second house with a one degree orb and my husband nearly
died of a pulmonary embolism after a hip replacement surgery. In August 2006 Jupiter in Scorpio was
conjunct my natal Saturn in my 1st house and my mother and brother
died within eight days of each other. In
September 2006 my dog, a rescue Greyhound, suddenly became ill and had to be
euthanized. Transiting Jupiter in
Scorpio was forming a three degree conjunction to my natal Saturn and a four
degree conjunction to my sun.
In 2018,
transiting Jupiter in Scorpio formed a conjunction to my Scorpio sun on January
29th when my husband was hospitalized for a subdural hematoma. On February 10, 2018, another dog, also a
rescue, started bleeding out from a mast cell tumor that had been operated on a
few months earlier and had to be euthanized.
Transiting Jupiter was in 22 degrees of Scorpio conjunct both my sun and
Venus in Scorpio in my second house. I
am wondering how all of this will play out with Jupiter retrograde because
Jupiter will be on my sun again in April and May of 2018 and it will be on my
Saturn in late June and July of 2018.
When Jupiter stations direct in 13 degrees of Scorpio, it will be one
degree away from my natal Saturn.
In spite of the
death and rebirth themes associated with the Jupiter in Scorpio transit for me,
I am trying to look at the positive influence of Jupiter in Scorpio. One of the perks this time around with
Jupiter in Scorpio is that it trines Neptune in Pisces on three dates. It trined Neptune in 11 degrees of Pisces on
December 3, 2017 and will again on May 25, 2018 in 16 degrees of Pisces and its
third hit will occur on August 19, 2018 in 15 degrees of Pisces. All of these Jupiter Neptune trines favorably
aspect my Scorpio sun and Saturn, so I am holding out faith that the universe
will somehow provide for me.
If you are
curious as to how all of the planetary changes, including eclipses, Saturn in
Capricorn and Jupiter in Scorpio will be affecting you in 2018, please consider
getting an astrological reading. A
transit reading might be just what you need right now to make the most of
Jupiter in Scorpio. Jupiter transits are
all about taking advantage of opportunities and if you snooze you lose with
Jupiter. You have to be aware and strike
while the iron is hot. The Services Offered page of my site describes the menu
of services that I offer. There is something for everyone.
My site also
offers the opportunity to provide a donation in the amount of your choice to
demonstrate your support for my blog and daily astrological insights on Twitter

of my spiritual practice.
Recently I
undertook an intensive life purpose coaching training program and became
certified as a Life Purpose Coach. It
was an intense, eye-opening experience that changed my life as it caused me to
reflect on the story of my life. But I
left it with feelings of hope and light for the future that I want to share
with others. To that end, I am now
offering Life Purpose Coaching to my menu of services. You can read more about it at:
As an
astrologer, I have decided to include an interpretation of the north node by sign.
If you are feeling stuck and need some help in getting from Point A to Point B
in your quest for making positive changes in your life, please email me at lindasim54@gmail.com to schedule a complementary telephone consultation
to discover if you are a good fit for this program. I look forward to hearing from you.
If you are in
the Boston area, please consider getting a Reiki treatment at Acupuncture for
Everyone in Copley Square to destress, revitalize and remove blockages to
healing. It’s a perfect way to start
your weekend off and can also be described as a spa for the soul to boot! Reiki is the most profound treatment for
stress relief because it concentrates on CALMING your body.
For
more information on my Reiki services, please see this page on my site:
For
my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule for a treatment or have difficulty
traveling, I have also recently begun doing distance Reiki sessions for
them. I have a conversation with them
about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the
session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy
and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and
my perception of their blockages. I have
also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I
don’t always have a photo of my client.
I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where
it is needed. If this appeals to you, please feel free to contact me by email
at lindasim54@gmail.com or call me at 617-304-2205. I am also offering Reiki treatments in the Coolidge
Corner section of Brookline on Sunday afternoons.
But
the big news is that I have created and launched a new website devoted exclusively
to my Reiki practice. Please feel free to check it out at:
I
was also featured in the July 3rd edition of Boston Voyager, an online
publication that runs a section called Inspiring Stories about local
entrepreneurs on its home page. The
Scorpio moon was trining the Cancer sun and Neptune in Pisces on that day, so
my story certainly debuted under fitting aspects. Please feel free to check it out:
In
the spirit of the New Year, I have revised my package deals and I am now
offering two options for package deals: Silver and a Tarot special for my tarot
clients. Please check it out at:
