Some of us may
still be floating or feeling like we’re on a high from the recent new moon in 4
degrees of Pisces on February 23, 2020 but there is about to be a marked shift
in energy. On the day of the new moon I

The dreamy,
feel good Piscean vibe is waning. Venus
in Aries will be squaring Pluto in Capricorn on February 28, 2020 in 24 degrees
of their respective signs. I have a
natal Venus Pluto square and I can tell you from personal experience that this
aspect will bring intensity in relationships via obsessive and compulsive
behavior. Any issues that have been
hidden or on the disturbing side will surface at this time.
And since Pluto
and Saturn in Capricorn are both still within striking distance of each other,
this means that Venus in Aries gets to duke it out with Saturn in 28 degrees of
Capricorn on March 3, 2020. This aspect
will definitely add to the stress level in relationships as control issues and
limitations are triggered.
Venus in Aries
will be testing relationships during its last days and if Venus in Aries is
transiting either your 5th or 7th house, don’t be
surprised if you feel like the need for freedom and independence are being
pitted against the need for security and control. Venus in Aries is very impulsive, so please
be mindful of this fact and not make any major relationship decisions if you
can help it.
But on March 4,
2020 Venus will depart the sign of Aries and enter the sign of Taurus, where it
is truly in one of its happy places.
Venus rules Taurus and Libra, and is exalted in Pisces. Venus in Taurus should be a much more stabilizing
influence on relationships until it hits a curveball when it conjuncts Uranus
in 4 degrees of Taurus on March 8, 2020.
This aspect could deliver some surprises to our values and finances as
well as our relationships.
Mercury
retrograde also slides back into 29 degrees of Aquarius on March 4, 2020. Mercury will stay in Aquarius until March 16,
2020 but it does station direct on March 9, 2020 in 28 degrees of
Aquarius. Whenever a planet is in 29
degrees of a sign, it is referred to as anaretic because it is a critical
point. The energy of the sign is amplified
and triggers are inclined to manifest. With Mercury back in Aquarius, we may be
thinking more rationally, but we could also be communicating in a more
rebellious manner as we feel extremely restless and crave change. We may be inclined to push some boundaries. Issues with friends and group associations
could also come up for review with Mercury in Aquarius.

For
my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule for a treatment or have
difficulty traveling, I have also recently begun doing distance Reiki sessions
for them. I have a conversation with them
about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the
session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy
and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and
my perception of their blockages. I have
also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I
don’t always have a photo of my client.
