Saturn and Pluto Have a Friendly Encounter, Venus Enters Taurus and a Full Moon in Libra

 

The last week of March promises to be quite active.  On March 28, Saturn in Aries is forming a supportive sextile to Pluto in 5 degrees of Aquarius. This is a good thing and reflects a vast improvement over the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn that occurred on January 20, 2020 in 22 degrees of Capricorn and is associated with launching the pandemic that put the world in lockdown mode, forever changing the structure of our lives. This sextile is powerful energy for transformation and getting unstuck, both personally and collectively.  Sextiles represent opportunities and we need to be mindful of where these two planets are hitting our charts.  Saturn in Aries asks us to be less rigid in the area of life it is falling while Pluto in Aquarius encourages us to ask for help in that area of life.  Saturn in Aries is in my 6th house and Pluto in Aquarius is in my 4th house.  All I can tell you is that we will be presented with opportunities on this day and in the true nature of sextiles, if we don't take advantage of them, it will be our loss.  If you snooze you lose. Enough said on the matter...

Venus is actually a major player in the upcoming week.  It enters Taurus on March 30 and remains there until April 23.  Venus rules Taurus and Libra, so it is a very happy camper in Taurus.  It is operating at full capacity now.  Venus in Taurus loves to touch, feel, taste and hold.  It is very sensual.  Stability and reliability hold great appeal now. Trust your body and the messages it gives you.  We can be definitely up for creating something lasting in relationships, unlike when Venus was in Aries and we were more into the thrill of the chase.  Venus in Taurus is very security oriented.  Just be mindful that Venus is in the fixed earth sign and compromise  could be more difficult.  That is the shadow side of Venus in Taurus, as well as the tendency to overspend because luxury items are hard to resist now.

Venus is also the ruling planet of the Full Moon in 12 degrees of Libra on April 1. Yes, folks, we have a Full Moon on April Fool's Day, which is also the first day of Passover.  Mark my words, this Full Moon will be focused on relationships, so it can manifest as tensions and the need to find balance. This Full Moon in Libra is also opposing Saturn and Neptune in Aries, as well as the Sun.  The opposition to Saturn can create blockages and the opposition to Neptune can manifest as aggression at sea, deception and problems with oil.  

Peace is a major theme of this Full Moon in Libra, and we can definitely hope for some closure, completion or culmination in the area of life that this Moon falls in your chart.  For me, it is in my 12th house conjunct my Libra Ascendant and squaring my Nodes in Capricorn and Cancer.

The Full Moon in Libra is also squaring Jupiter in Cancer, which can intensify the emotional level and lead to overindulgence (especially with that Venus in Taurus influence)  or overextending ourselves.  Just remember that all of the planets are direct until May 6, when Pluto stations retrograde in 5 degrees of Aquarius.  I know that Mercury went direct on March 20, but it doesn't officially clear its retrograde shadow until April 9 and I for one have still been feeling the Mercury retrograde effects this week.

The coronavirus outbreak caused me to increase the number of distant Reiki sessions I do because people were concerned about the spread of the infection. I have decided to suspend my in-person Reiki sessions until further notice, so all of my Reiki sessions will be distant Reiki sessions for the foreseeable future. But a distant Reiki session is the perfect opportunity to safely build up your immune system and if you have contracted coronavirus, you can be treated safely from the comfort of your home. My procedure is to have a conversation with a client about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and my perception of their blockages. I do miss seeing my clients, so I am now offering Zoom consultations/intakes before the session so that we can see each other. I have also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my client.  I use a teddy bear so that I can scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed.
