We may still be under the influence of the Pisces New Moon
of March 6, 2019 that was also conjunct Neptune in Pisces, but we have a whole
lot of earth energy at work as well. Uranus entered the sign of Taurus on March
6th for the next seven years, inspiring me to tweet:

We all know that in addition to Uranus being in Taurus for
the next seven years, Saturn and Pluto are having a long run in Capricorn. They are actually headed for a conjunction in
2020. But Mars has been in Taurus since
February 14, 2019 (Valentine’s Day) and will remain in Taurus until March 31,
2019. Mars in Taurus is slow and steady
but persistent and ultimately very productive and lends a grounding influence
to whatever it touches.
During the next week we have some very stabilizing aspects
occurring between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Taurus. Three of four aspects that I will be
discussing are in fact sextiles to the sun and Neptune in Pisces. The fourth aspect is a trine.
The first aspect occurs on March 9, 2019 when the sun in
Pisces forms a supportive sextile to Saturn in Capricorn in 18 degrees of their
respective signs. This aspect bestows patience
and perseverance. It’s a marvelous time
to focus on serious or difficult tasks because determination will be
strong. It favors hard work and it
should come easily. Personally, I look forward
to it because the Pisces sun is trining my Scorpio sun on that day and Saturn
in Capricorn is sextiling my sun. It
should be a productive day.
On March 10, 2019 Mars in Taurus sextiles Neptune in Pisces
in 16 degrees of their respective signs.
This aspect ramps up our sensuality and sensitivity to others. It make us more open to serving others as it
is very spiritual energy. If you are
feeling riled up about any injustice you will be able to assert yourself in
fighting for what you believe to be right.
The sun in Pisces forms an exact sextile to Pluto in
Capricorn in 22 degrees on March 13, 2019.
This aspect will increase our need to succeed and claim our power. If you have any obsessive or compulsive traits
they can actually be used constructively to get things accomplished. Power is a
strong theme with this aspect so just be mindful not to abuse it.
And on March 24, 2019, Mars in Taurus is exactly trine
Saturn in 18 degrees of Capricorn. This
aspect is all about having the strength, ambition and perseverance to tackle
difficult tasks and see them through to completion. It favors finances and
career goals. If you are feeling
passionate about something, go for it.
This is a time when dedication and dependability could prove to be just
as alluring your physical appearance.
Trines are really nice aspects, especially when these two planets are
involved. Take it from me, I know this
firsthand because I have a Mars Saturn square natally and that is one
challenging aspect.
In addition to having the sun and Neptune in Pisces, we
also have Mercury (retrograde to boot) in Pisces. Mercury will be in Pisces
until April 17, 2019, long after the sun has left Pisces for the fire sign of Aries. I have been feeling the effects of this Mercury
retrograde since it entered the shadow period and experienced enormous
frustration on the day it stationed retrograde (March 5th) when I
realized that I was not receiving my voicemail.
I missed some very important calls. After a couple of phone calls with
Apple, I am happy to report that the problem is now resolved. But if anyone has tried to contact me in the
last few weeks (since Mercury entered the shadow period in February) and haven’t
