The Libra/Scorpio astrological party is gaining momentum as
more planets join the roster of guests. The Sun and Mercury are in Libra,
Jupiter entered Scorpio on October 10th, Venus enters Libra, its
home sign on October 14, 2017 and Mercury enters Scorpio on October 17,
2017. Then we have a new moon in 26
degrees of Libra on October 19, 2017.
The pace is definitely picking up.
Venus is eminently more comfortable in the sign of Libra
than it was in Virgo, the sign of its fall.
Venus rules Libra, so it will be in its element until November 7,
2017. Venus in Virgo demonstrated love
through service to others but Venus in Libra is much more romantic. Venus in Libra is charming, diplomatic,
amenable to compromise, and idealistic. Appearances
matter when Venus is in Libra, so don’t be surprised if you are tempted to
engage in a makeover or at least purchase some new fall clothes. The only downside with Venus in Libra is that
it can be indecisive and prone to excessive people pleasing. Don’t fall into the trap of excessive dependency
or martyrdom, which can cross the line into codependency. If we are mindful of these potential
pitfalls, Venus in Libra should be a thoroughly enjoyable transit.
I am mentioning this because Uranus in Aries is very active astrologically these days. On October 14, 2017, Mercury in 26 degrees of Libra opposes Uranus in 26 degrees of Aries. Are you seeing a pattern here? Both Venus and Mercury make challenging aspects to Uranus before they enter new signs. Mercury opposing Uranus will be stressful and we may feel like we are in a state of mental overload. Computers and electronics may give us trouble. Probably the best way of coping with this energy is to think outside of the box.Venus in ♍️ inconjunct Uranus in ♈️ today can bring some unexpected surprises & irritations in love & finances. Adjust. #astrology— Linda Simons (@danceofphoenix) October 11, 2017
Mercury enters the sign of Scorpio on October 17, 2017 and
we will find our communication taking on a more intense tone as our mental focus
becomes more sharp, profound and analytical.
It will be a time of seeking deeper meanings. Trust me on this one because I have my natal
Mercury in Scorpio. Of course the flip side of Mercury in Scorpio is that
communication can get downright sarcastic with that Scorpio stinger, so be
mindful on that score. But Mercury in
Scorpio will conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio on October 18, 2017 and this aspect
will amplify our optimism and enthusiasm.
We have an action packed new moon on October 19, 2017 in 26
degrees of Libra. Once again, Uranus in
Aries is front and center. It is
opposing both the sun and moon in Libra, which can make us feel restless and
lead to unpredictability and volatility in relationships. Mars in 27 degrees of Virgo will be
inconjunct retrograde Uranus in 26 degrees of Aries, which can increase the
impulsive nature of the new moon.
Risk-taking will be more dangerous.
Do you see what I mean about a pattern here with planets forming
challenging aspects to Uranus before they change signs?
The general rule of thumb with a new moon is that it is a
time to plant new seeds for future endeavors. This is definitely a transition
phase for making positive changes. We have
Saturn in 23 degrees of Sagittarius sextiling this new moon. This is a really pleasant aspect and Saturn
is bringing patience and perseverance to the mix as it improves relationships
with authority figures. Saturn will moderate the unexpected changes brought by
Uranus (that good old Saturn/Uranus trine in play) as it helps us find new ways
of doing things without rocking the boat.
I am excited about this new moon in Libra because it forms
an exact conjunction with my Neptune in the first house. I will probably be very sensitive on that day
but that should be beneficial for my work.
If you are curious as to how Jupiter and now Mercury in
Scorpio will be affecting you, please consider getting an astrological reading. A transit reading might be just what you need
right now to make the most of Jupiter in Scorpio. Jupiter transits are all about taking
advantage of opportunities and if you snooze you lose with Jupiter. You have to be aware and strike while the
iron is hot. The Services Offered page of my site describes the menu of
services that I offer. There is something for everyone.
My site also offers the opportunity to provide

Coaching to my menu of services. You can

For my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule for
a treatment or have difficulty traveling, I have also recently begun doing
distance Reiki sessions for them. I have
a conversation with them about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set
up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive
healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their
experience and my perception of their blockages. I have also incorporated a new technique with
my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my
client. I use a teddy bear so that I can
scan and focus the healing energy where it is needed. If this appeals to you,
please feel free to contact me by email at lindasim54@gmail.com or call me at 617-304-2205. I am also offering Reiki treatments in the Coolidge
Corner section of Brookline on Sunday afternoons.
But the big news is that I have created and launched a new
website devoted exclusively to my Reiki practice. Please feel free to check it
out at:
I was also featured in the July 3rd edition of
Boston Voyager, an online publication that runs a section called Inspiring
Stories about local entrepreneurs on its home page. The Scorpio moon was trining the Cancer sun
and Neptune in Pisces on that day, so my story certainly debuted under fitting
aspects. Please feel free to check it
out:
Additionally, I launched an endeavor that will deliver my services
to you at an affordable cost in the form of package deals. I am offering four options: Silver, Gold, Platinum
and a Tarot special for my tarot clients. Please check it out at:
