Well, the July eclipses have come and gone. The most recent occurred on July 16, 2019 and
was a lunar eclipse in 24 degrees of Capricorn.
On that day I tweeted:

Hopefully we have all survived this onslaught and are
integrating its lessons into our lives.
But the Cancer energy is not abating.
On July 19, 2019 retrograde Mercury slips back into Cancer until August
11th. With Mercury back in Cancer, communications will definitely become
more emotional. Mercury in Cancer gives
us a second chance to express our empathy and feelings of vulnerability. Mercury
will conjunct the sun in 28 degrees of Cancer on July 21st and this
can manifest in some hidden truths being revealed and more understanding
developing in our relationships. We are quite literally speaking from the heart
as our thoughts are driven by our emotions. However, the shadow side of Mercury
in Cancer is that communications could also wind up on the defensive side and
we could find it more challenging to be objective. Mercury in Cancer will also
conjunct Venus in 25 degrees of Cancer on July 24, 2019 and this presents a
golden opportunity to express our feelings to a loved one. It has a definite do-over theme in terms of
bringing back those loving feelings and we can really reap the benefits of this
aspect if we utilize its energy.
Mercury has moved from Leo into Cancer and on July 22, 2019
the sun moves from Cancer into Leo. The
sun rules Leo and is literally quite at home in Leo. It’s a time to be creative, romantic, playful
and more social. Do what you enjoy, be
proud of yourself, bask in glory and don’t be afraid to shine and strut your
stuff. It’s perfect vacation energy. The sun in Leo is all about enjoying
ourselves during the heat of the summer and Leo itself is a fire sign, so enthusiasm
and zest for life are high during this transit.
On July 25, 2019 we get a lucky break astrologically when
Mars in 15 degrees of Leo forms a flowing, beneficial trine to Jupiter in 15
degrees of Sagittarius. This is the
second and last time this year we will experience this aspect. The first time it occurred was on January 25,
2019 when Mars was in 16 degrees of Aries and Jupiter was direct in 16 degrees
of Sagittarius. This aspect gives us a
green light for success in any endeavors we choose to undertake, so don’t waste
it. If you snooze during a Jupiter
aspect, you lose. Jupiter isn’t like
Saturn or Pluto in terms of nagging and reminding you of its presence. Jupiter requires you to take action to reap
its benefits. Make the most of this day,
which also features the Taurus moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus. We could find ourselves on the receiving end
of some very pleasant emotional surprises if we are open and willing to put
ourselves out there.

For
my clients who can’t fit Friday into their schedule for a treatment or have
difficulty traveling, I have also recently begun doing distance Reiki sessions
for them. I have a conversation with
them about what they hope to achieve from a session, we set up a time for the
session to take place when they will be in a state to receive healing energy
and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their experience and
my perception of their blockages. I have
also incorporated a new technique with my distance Reiki treatments since I
don’t always have a photo of my client.
