The month of December and by association, the
holiday season, began on a compassionate humanitarian note as Chiron stationed
direct in 20 degrees of Pisces on December 1st after having been
retrograde since June 27, 2016 in 25 degrees of Pisces. On that day I tweeted:
“Chiron in Pisces stations direct after 5 months retrograde. Time to shift the focus from inner level to
external.”
Chiron in Pisces is all about surrendering to
old wounds to restore wholeness, but the five month retrograde really
intensified the private, internalized component of the experience. Chiron in Pisces is very spiritual to begin
with as it seeks to heal the soul. It
also has an innate urge to merge. Now that
Chiron is moving in a direct motion, it is time to spread that healing on an
external level so that we are demonstrating more compassion and healing in the
outer world. This really couldn’t come
at a better time with the holiday season upon us and on the heels of a
Presidential election in the United States that has rocked our core and
inflicted many wounds that need to be healed.
If you are wondering why I am making such a big
deal out of Chiron being direct, the answer to that question is because I am a
healer. I have never paid much attention
to the Part of Fortune, an Arabic part of the chart also called Fortuna, but
this past week something told me to look at my Part of Fortune in my chart. The
Part of Fortune in a chart is calculated by adding the ascendant to the sun and
subtracting the moon if the sun is in the first 6 houses, or by adding the
ascendant and moon and subtracting the sun if the sun is located in the last
six houses. The Part of Fortune can
predict worldly success and one’s career as well as pertaining to the physical
body and health. My Part of Fortune is in
21 degrees of Pisces in my 6th house of health, daily routines, pets
and jobs. So is it any wonder why I felt
this station of Chiron so intensely? It
literally hit me where I live! I also have a strong natal Chiron in my chart it
terms of the challenges it has manifested in my life in my own journey to
become a healer.
I do feel that I utilized this energy wisely on
December 1st by treating myself to a Pilates class and giving a
client a Reiki session. I can see now that the Chiron retrograde period
triggered an in-depth healing process for myself, but it also saw an increase
in the number of clients I have attracted seeking to heal their wounds. A lot of healers are experiencing a greater
influx of patients these days and I don’t think that this will stop any time
soon. Personally, transiting Chiron will
be exactly conjunct my Part of Fortune in mid-January 2017 and I am eagerly
anticipating a period of increased healing service to others.

On December 7, 2016, Venus enters Aquarius, the
sign of unconventionality, love of freedom, and independence in social
relationships. But Venus in Aquarius is
also known for its humanitarian stance with a focus on ensuring that others are
treated fairly and unselfishly. It is
all about impersonal love and compassion for others. Venus will be in Aquarius until January 4,
2017 and this is an optimal time to develop greater authenticity in all of our
relationships. I think it is an ideal
complement to Chiron in Pisces moving in a direct motion and the perfect blend
of energy for the holiday season. Let
the healing energy move outward to share it with others. I have encountered more people studying Reiki
and I think that is fabulous because the world needs all of the healing energy
it can get these days! How sweet is
that!

up a time for the session to take place when they will be in a state to receive
healing energy and I follow up with a telephone conversation to discuss their
experience and my perception of their blockages. I have also incorporated a new technique with
my distance Reiki treatments since I don’t always have a photo of my
